JID Delivers “29 Freestyle”

East Atlanta playboy JID has broken his hiatus with the YouTube exclusive 29 Freestyle. JID has already been able to prove his impressive pen and technical rapping abilities, but more recently has focused on the energy behind his music with hits like Stick and his feature on Imagine Dragons’ Enemy. With that being said, JID seems to have gone back to his lyrical roots with this one, showing off his unique deliveries and ability to fit into any pocket.

Produced by common JID collaborator, Christo, the production carries an infectious energy spread throughout the whole track. This has definitely been a top producer-artist duo in recent years and if this is any indication of the direction they’re heading in I can’t wait to see what’s in store for JID’s upcoming project The Forever Story.
