midwxst Releases Single “sidelines”

Idiana raised artist, midwxst, recently dropped sidelines, the follow up single to his breakout project better luck next time. If there’s anything midwxst has proved with these recent releases, it’s that he won’t be boxed in. He’s been able to perfectly expand from the hyperpop sound into a much more matured and melodic take on the genre, with substance and meaning behind each track telling a clear and amazing story with each and every song. A big part of this transformation has been the cinematic visuals behind every drop, he clearly takes pride in the visual aspect of his art and this video has been one of my favorites yet. 

midwxst has quickie gathered a strong following of almost two-million listeners, and he seems to be nowhere near his ceiling rapidly growing and polishing his sound with every release. The craziest part, he only turned 19 last week, regardless of his age midwxst has proven to be a creative genius far past just the music. His innovative fashion, ear for unique production, and top level music videos all play into this culture he’s building to keep him around for the long haul.
