Residing in Boston, Massachusetts, up and coming artist Diz released his first album of 2022 titled ULTRA.VIOLET. With its eclectic style of  production and witty wordplay this album has proven to be a great start to the year for Diz. In this album it has shown the sound that he has been refining since his debut in 2020. One track that sticks out when understanding the overall message of the album is the  Point of Madness Reprise.

In Point of Madness Reprise Diz makes important references to the problems that he is going through as an artist, being friends/family , attachment issues and coping with the thoughts in his head. With Family, He makes references about his homies being his family;“With my niggas breaking bread even though we butting heads we still family to the head.” In music Diz understands that even though it's a lonely journey you still need to keep those around you that treat you like family even though there will be shortcomings. Diz makes multiple references to his attachment issues. In the beginning of the track he references this by saying “When Love Comes I will freeze hope it don’t kill me I be getting too attached.” With so many people forsaking you on your journey it is hard not to get attached to those you've had a sentimental relationship with; this is something that Diz is fighting in this track and throughout the album. To calm his thoughts about people forsaking him Diz has turned to drugs in hopes of sedating his mind and get reprieve from the anguish he has felt. This is a heartfelt track that everyone should take a listen to.
