Imbued with flows you might hear Pusha T or Pharrell dish out, "Risky" is heavily inspired by the Neptunes era of pop and hip-hop music. Even the drums have a quirky swing and bareness to them which you could attribute to Chad Hugo. But don’t get it wrong, grouptherapy. brings clever lyrics and unique ad-libs to the track which elevate it from just any Neptunes or Clisp tribute. Quippy lines such as “every single rapper is an actor” or “my black ass stand out like rich white man asking hand out” are strewn about the song, leaving humorous contributions to its already colorful atmosphere.
