Independent Films - [Shy High]

Up and coming Oregon artist, Shy High, just dropped the music video for his 2021 breakout single Independent Films directed by Daniel Jordan of Overcast. Overcast is a music video production company that caught a lot of eyes last year getting a big cosign from Lyrical Lemonade as well as Cole Bennet himself and that popularity boost has led to Overcast launching some of the biggest breakout artists of 2021 from midwxst and Glaive to Eric Doa and koi. With all that promise surrounding Overcast, it seems to be a perfect time for Shy High to make his debut on the channel, and I definitely expect this video to do big things for the budding artist.

Shy High has a refreshingly unique sound, the nonchalant flow surrounded by nostalgic production and unique song structure makes for a never before heard sound. Everything from his music to his image is authentic and intriguing, leaving listeners wanting more and I’m definitely looking forward to witnessing the breakout year he’s about to have.
