SOULSTICE - [Deshawn Visionz]

Up and coming Sacramento artist Deshawn Vizionz recently released his debut album SOULSTICE and it’s one of my favorite bodies of work I’ve heard in some time. Deshawn’s relaxed flow with truthful lyricism creates a conversation-like atmosphere while listening and the impressive lo-fi production underlying every track really gives Deshawn the opportunity to showcase his lyrical ability. 

The project consisting of twelve tracks and impressive features from Ash, Tommie Phoenix, LaRussell and more is a very impressive and well-crafted debut project. It’s rare to find a budding artist with such a polished sound and sense of identity like Deshawn Visionz, so I’m always excited to find some promising new talent.
