Matt Swain and Jaysanityy Pair Up For “FIGHT BACK”

17-year-old producer and engineer Matt Swain releases a new single featuring rapper Jaysanityy.  A Philadelphia native, Matt Swain turns back time a little with his single titled Fight Back. With the popularity of trap music in hip hop, Matt takes a different approach to producing by taking it back to the traditional way of sample-based production. Stripping down his drums to just a hi-hat and open hi-hat, Matt utilizes live drums in an innovative way by creating a simple drum pattern to give the artist the most amount of space. Matt’s production is unique in that he does not use many kicks or 808s in his music but rather allows the artist to be front and center.

Jaysanityy rapping in a laid-back tone creates a chill vibe with the song. Delivering on his lyrics he raps “I been fighting so my future can see brighter days.” These lyrics capture exactly what is happening in the world right now; everyone trying to find themselves in the madness of what is going on. This is a powerful statement because we all want to live the life we desire but it takes hard work and fighting through adversity. Fight Back is an uplifting track that moves you in positivity to keep going no matter the situation.
