My Favorite Color Releases New Single “Frustrated”

LA native My Favorite Color just released a his latest banger titled Frustrated. With its High energy visuals, aggressive wordplay and  breaks/pauses throughout parts of the song this is something you would hear at a festival with a mosh pit. In the parts of the song Myfavorite color slows down the beat and say the hook of the track “ These niggas is rappin got me frustrated these niggas aint trappers, these nigggas aint trappin, these niggas is trapped in.”  He uses what is called a Polyptoton. A Polyptoton is  the repetition of the same root word but with different endings, something that i have not seen in a while. Building on top of this he says a line that would probably go over a lot of people's heads “yall still worried about yo instagram ima business man.” I've seen it with not just artists but influencers. They don't really be worried about the business side of what they are doing and more worried about gaining followers/ subscribers . This is why we see a lot of problems with entertainers today they may have the numbers but don't have the bread that backs up those numbers because of bad business. The final thing i would like to touch on is that he made a shout out to the artists pinkpantheress a great artist who's been putting out a lot of great music since 2021 and blowing up all over tiktok .
