Geller Releases New Single “Boring Life”

Gearing up for his forthcoming EP set to drop in July, Geller releases the lead-single Boring Life. Though the name of the song is Boring Life it is far from that; euphoric is just one word to describe the feeling this song gives. When talking about how this track came about Geller said via Instagram “I started this idea in a cabin in the middle of winter, while reflecting on life.” That being the overall mood of the song he really captures the moment. The production takes you on a journey from the colorful melody to the vintage 70’s sampled drums. It’s spacious and ambient but sonically pop driven. The song kicks it off with the lyrics “I just wanna be somebody someday.” A strong statement in a time where everyone seems to be lost in either who they are or who they want to be. 

Now more than ever everyone wants to be somebody and it’s important to not get lost in the perception you want others to have of you, but rather be true to yourself. Going in depth about his feelings, he speaks about life being a rollercoaster of emotions that one must face. Uplifting to say the least, this is the perfect song to listen to if you’re going through difficult emotions or if you’re feeling great, it will bring you joy.
