Something For The Sunset - [Seafood Sam]

Long Beach artist Seafood Sam has been a bubbling name in the LA underground scene for a little while now, and he just dropped his fourth studio album Something For The Sunset and it didn’t disappoint. Seafood Sam’s consistency is unmatched, having dropped four great projects in the last two years, and that’s almost as impressive as the genuineness he approaches his music with. At 10 tracks, this project shows his personality as an artist and his various flows over a variety of beats.

With collaborators such as Pink Siifu, Huey Briss, and Devin Morrison, Seafood Sam can clearly fit into any pocket or style. This project shows his ability to float on any beat with standout tracks like “4th & Cherry” and “Chef’s Compliments''. Seafood Sam also always comes with unique visuals and this project is no different with the lead video for “4th & Cherry '' filled with candid performances of Sam around LA. I'm eager to see which other tracks will be brought to life through visuals. With LA hiphop having slowed down in recent years, artists like Seafood Sam definitely bring hope to the genre and I can’t wait to see what’s next for him.
